Career Excellence:

• Followed timelines in working on projects to include build version upgrades and integrated testing along with documentation on application support and other administrative tasks.

• Worked with Clinical Informatics in reviewing and implementing requests for modifications to Cerner Millennium and maintained detailed documentation of the changes.

• Provided rotational on-call 24-hour support for physicians, nurses and other clinical staff with back-end issues.

• Knowledge of clinical applications such as Cerner Power Chart, Bridge Milk, and Cerner FetaLink. This includes vital functions such as clinical charting, order entry, and FetaLink FMCE devices.

• Created Cerner Discern Expert rules. Utilized rules to display pop-up notifications, enter orders, and other functions. Worked with the eICU team regarding the Cerner Sepsis Cloud for optimization and troubleshooting to provide timely alerts regarding a patient meeting sepsis criteria.

• Built and maintained Power Forms, strong understanding of the event set hierarchy to include event codes and event sets. Created Discrete Task Assays using DCP Wizard to be used in Power Forms, Interactive View, and other areas within Cerner Millennium.

• Worked with SMART on FHIR to retrieve data using the Cerner Smart App Validator. Validated the JSON output with our developers to ensure the correct results and corresponding LOINC codes. In addition, worked with the IT Lab team in manually adding LOINC codes in Bedrock.

• Understanding of HL7 terminology, message structure, and ADT transactions.

• Designed and built pathways to be used in the Care Pathways mPage component. Used CSV file to upload the sections and questions and the Care Pathways tool to configure logic and import orders.
